Manas International Airport in Bishkek has temporarily suspended all aircraft reception and release operations following a severe emergency landing by one of its planes, as announced by Airports of Kyrgyzstan on July 7.
The incident occurred during takeoff of a local airline’s Boing717 aircraft, which experienced a broken rear landing gear. This led to a hard landing that resulted in minor injuries for some passengers, including bruises and cuts.
