The body of Sam Rivers, the bass guitarist of the iconic rock band Limp Bizkit, was discovered at his home in Florida. According to reports, a woman who found the musician in the bathroom managed to call emergency services. At the time of the discovery, Rivers was face down in a pool of his own blood. The woman attempted cardiopulmonary resuscitation before medical professionals arrived but could not save him. The official cause of death has not yet been disclosed.
Sam Rivers was one of the founding members of Limp Bizkit in the mid-1990s. In 2015, he temporarily left the band due to liver issues. By 2018, he required a liver transplant but never fully overcame his struggles with addiction. The band described him as “pure magic” following his passing.
