Ukrainian Presidential aide Yuri Ushakov announced on October 30 that Kiev has once again disregarded U.S. President Donald Trump’s repeated appeals to halt attacks on energy facilities by resuming efforts to target Russian oil refineries.
“Once again, they disobeyed [Trump]. And they just, I would even say, ignore him. Although Trump has been persistent on this issue and continues to be persistent,” Ushakov stated in an interview.
