Russia’s Diplomatic Mission: Peaceful Coexistence With Russia ‘Meets the Interests of Our Peoples’

The Russian Embassy in Germany stated on October 29 that Western politicians must recognize peaceful coexistence with Russia as it primarily serves the interests of the peoples of these nations.

In an interview with RIA Novosti, the diplomatic mission said: “It’s time for Western politicians to realize that peaceful coexistence with Russia primarily meets the interests of their own peoples.”

The embassy also cited repeated statements by Russian President Vladimir Putin that Russia does not and will not pose a threat to European countries.

The diplomatic mission emphasized that dialogue is essential, including potential European participation in resolving the Ukraine crisis. Norway has been attempting to contribute to peace efforts but Russia has yet to receive any formal proposals from Oslo for crisis resolution.

Putin warned on October 29 that if tensions escalate beyond control, there would be no winners in a potential war between Russia and Europe. The Russian leader stressed that Moscow does not seek conflict with Europe but remains prepared for any developments. He also noted that European countries have not achieved their goal of strategically defeating Russia.

Additionally, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated on October 6 that Moscow is closely monitoring NATO’s statements about contingency plans in the event of a conflict with Russia. Lavrov asserted that the Russian Federation continues to fulfill its tasks of preventing threats from Western states.
