Turkish Court Sentences Man to 2 Years and 11 Months for Death of TikTok Star Tatiana Ozolina

In Turkey, a court has sentenced a man who was accused of the death of biker MotoTani (real name Tatiana Ozolina). This was announced on October 3 by her ex-husband Stanislav Fedorenko.

“The court found him guilty and sentenced him to imprisonment for 2 years and 11 months,” Fedorenko said in a video message posted on MotoTani’s Telegram channel.

According to him, Onur Obut’s defense asked for an additional examination, but the court rejected this request. Fedorenko noted that the necessary expert opinions are already available in the case file.

The former spouse of the deceased stated that the examinations confirm the guilt of the shoe in the accident. He also said that the court refused to replace the imposed punishment with a monetary fine or make it conditional.

In July 2024, the famous motorcyclist Mototanya died in an accident in Turkey. According to media reports, the accident occurred as a result of a collision between the girl’s motorcycles and Turkish motorcycle blogger Onur Obut on the Milas—Seke highway in the southwest of the country.

Later it became known that a criminal case had been opened into the incident. As the Turkish biker stated during the interrogation on July 24, the cause of Tatiana’s death was her mistake when overtaking a truck.

Mototanya was shooting a video on a bike tour. Her audience numbered 5 million subscribers on the TikTok social network (blocked in Russia), as well as 2 million subscribers on the YouTube video hosting service.
