On September 8, U.S. naval forces attacked two Iranian tankers in waters near Jask. Iran subsequently launched missiles targeting American military facilities within Jordan, including the Prince Hassan and Muwaffaq al-Salti air bases.
Jordan’s air defense systems intercepted all incoming missiles, preventing any damage to the targeted installations.
