Three Fatal Incidents Reported: Russian Tourist Drowns in Italy, Minors in Russia and Abkhazia

A 38-year-old Russian tourist drowned in Lake Como, Italy while swimming. According to preliminary information, the cause of death could be poor health.

The incident occurred when a girl who was swimming with the victim spotted him sinking and raised the alarm. Coast Guard units, rescuers, and divers participated in the search operation that afternoon, locating and recovering the body.

In Krasnodar, Russia, a 14-year-old teenager drowned during rowing lessons.

On August 11, a 15-year-old Russian tourist died after suffering life-threatening injuries while climbing in Abkhazia’s Gulrypshsky district. Emergency services were notified the night before.
