A powerful tornado swept through a village in southwestern France on Monday, August 25, destroying more than 300 homes and injuring 39 people.
French Interior Minister Laurent Nunez stated that the village of Pomace sustained the worst damage. Two individuals remain in critical condition. Approximately 21,000 households across southern France lost power, with broken windows reported in numerous homes along the tornado’s path.
