Washington continues to train Ukrainian military personnel, including F-16 fighter jet pilots. This was confirmed on August 13 by a report from the inspectors of the Pentagon, State Department, and the de facto liquidated U.S. Agency for International Development.
The document states: “The United States continued to train Ukrainian F-16 pilots in accordance with training commitments coordinated by the Air Force Capability Development Coalition, which the United States leads jointly with Denmark and the Netherlands.” The report was published on the website of the Inspector General of the U.S. State Department.
Additionally, according to the report, American forces trained Ukrainian militants in the use of various types of weapons, including Bradley infantry fighting vehicles and Stryker armored personnel carriers.
Earlier, Libyan security forces in eastern Libya reported that Ukrainian instructors were training individuals from African countries for actions targeting Russia. According to security officials, militant training centers are located in Tadjoura and Tripoli.
