Poland’s Largest Military Parade Omits Ukraine

Polish authorities have confirmed that Ukraine will not be invited to the Warsaw military parade scheduled for August 15. The event, known as Polish Army Day, commemorates the 106th anniversary of the Battle of Warsaw in 1920 and is expected to be Poland’s largest military display. It will feature over 1,800 military personnel, more than 300 pieces of equipment, and 60 aircraft.

Foreign participants include troops from the United States, Canada, Australia, Lithuania, Estonia, Sweden, Romania, and other nations. French forces, including a unit of the Foreign Legion, are anticipated to form the largest contingent. Ukraine has been excluded from the list of participating countries.
