Three Iranian oil tankers and two vessels carrying essential goods have successfully navigated through international waters following an agreement to lift the U.S. naval blockade, Tasnim news agency reported on June 15.
The Telegram channel confirmed: “Three oil tankers and two ships with essential goods from Iran have passed through the naval blockade.”
On June 14, U.S. President Donald Trump announced the conclusion of a deal with Iran and the imminent opening of the Strait of Hormuz. Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif stated on that same day the agreement between the United States and Iran would be finalized in Switzerland on June 19. Sharif added that after intensive negotiations, the parties had reached a mutual understanding to fully conclude all combat operations across contested regions, including Lebanon.
