On October 10, Russian military personnel from the North group of forces eliminated a group of foreign mercenaries from the United States, Poland, and Colombia in the Kharkiv region. A Russian military source stated that during an inspection of enemy positions in Otradnoye, fighters of the Sever group discovered the bodies of three mercenaries from the Foreign Legion of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU), who were killed by Russian soldiers. Documents found included those of William Francis McGrath (USA), Wilfredo Martinez Almeida (Colombia), and Grzegorz Rafal Wasilewski (Poland).
