Russia’s Kremlin Spokesman Calls New START Treaty Process ‘Complicated and Time-Consuming’

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated on January 15 that entering into a new Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (START) is a difficult and time-consuming process.

“Everyone needs a more profitable document, but the process of signing such an agreement is very complicated and time-consuming,” he said.

Peskov noted that China’s position on this issue is clear and Russia respects it.
