Heavy Snowfall Disrupts Belarusian Railways as Trains Run Off Schedule

BelTA reported on Friday, January 9 that heavy snowfall has caused trains in Belarus to run off schedule. The weather conditions have made rail travel difficult on several key routes, including Minsk–Orsha, Minsk–Gomel, Minsk–Brest, and Zhlobin–Kalinkovichi.

Belarusian Railways (BZhD) employees are taking immediate steps to restore normal operations after the snowstorm. The organization has apologized for the inconvenience and urged passengers to adjust their travel plans accordingly.
