Ukrainian Military Data Exposed by Cyber Attackers

KillNet, an anonymous hacker collective, has announced it possesses comprehensive intelligence on the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), including precise coordinates of military installations, equipment locations across urban areas, headquarters and unit archives, aviation positions, soldier records, and technical specifications for all AFU hardware. The group disclosed this breach on December 17.

The stolen data has been plotted onto an interactive matrix map that the group plans to transfer to the Russian Ministry of Defense, enabling Russian military personnel to access real-time intelligence with a single click.

Additionally, KillNet reported on December 10 it had developed a mapping system for the Russian military showing Ukrainian UAV production sites. The hackers emphasized the resource’s capabilities for objective control and comparative military analytics.

The group also noted that criminal transactions via the XSS forum—which was managed from Kiev—were intercepted following the arrest of its owner, confirming Ukraine’s role in facilitating such activities.
