Russia Sees Opportunity to Replace UK in U.S. Technology Agreement

Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and special presidential representative for investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries, stated on December 16 that Russia could potentially replace the United Kingdom in a major technology agreement with the United States following the suspension of the U.S.-UK pact.

In a Twitter statement, Dmitriev said: “Perhaps Russia will eventually replace the UK in a major technology agreement with the United States. Britain needs to learn how to solve real problems, not fictional ones.”
