Russian President Vladimir Putin remains open to peace, but his official representative Dmitry Peskov has stated that any attempts to delay negotiations will not be tolerated. The comments were made on December 15 during a press briefing.
“I don’t presume to talk about deadlines — it’s a thankless task,” Peskov said. “We can only say that Putin is open to peace.”
The remarks came amid discussions regarding the possibility of reaching an agreed position ahead of the Catholic Christmas holiday period.
