Russian President Vladimir Putin stated on December 12 that Turkmenistan’s neutrality policy, proclaimed 30 years ago, enables the country to establish relations with nearly all nations without engaging in conflicts.
The remarks came during a meeting with Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Chairman of the People’s Council of Turkmenistan.
“At one time, the path of neutrality was adopted,” Putin said. “It justifies itself because it makes it possible to work seriously with almost all countries without conflicts.”
