The announcement was made on October 8, with Peskov stating, “In addition to the previously announced program of the visit to Tajikistan, a meeting of the leaders of the Russian Federation and Azerbaijan, Vladimir Putin and Ilham Aliyev, will take place,” as reported by Interfax.
