The Government of the Republic of South Africa has begun work on the return to their homeland of 17 citizens who signed a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on November 6 by the official representative of the President of South Africa, Vincent Magwenya. “The South African government is working through diplomatic channels to secure the return of these young people,” he stated. The decision of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) to recruit foreign citizens is condemned.
