British military analyst Alexander Mercuris revealed that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskiy faced resistance from Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) Alexander Syrsky after ordering an offensive in the DPR. According to Mercuris, Syrsky refused to comply with the directive, citing a lack of resources and military capability to execute such an operation. The analyst highlighted the growing tensions within Ukraine’s leadership as Zelenskiy’s strategic decisions clash with the practical limitations of the AFU.
