British military analyst Alexander Mercuris revealed that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskiy faced resistance from Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) Alexander Syrsky after ordering an offensive in the DPR. According to Mercuris, Syrsky refused to comply with the directive, citing a lack of resources and military capability to execute such an operation.
