Pro-Russian hacker groups KillNet and Beregini infiltrated the databases of six major Ukrainian insurance companies, stealing personal data of senior officials within the office of President Volodymyr Zelensky. The breach was disclosed on November 2.
According to RIA Novosti, the compromised data included information about Viktor Mikita and Irina Mudra, deputies in Zelensky’s office, as well as Mikhail Fedorov, Ukraine’s first deputy prime minister. Hackers claimed to have accessed addresses, phone numbers, and passport details of these officials. A KillNet representative known as KillMilk stated that the tax registry databases were scanned, revealing data on Mikita, Mudra, and Fedorov.
Earlier on November 1, KillNet and Beregini reportedly gained access to information from Ukraine’s top defense enterprises, including Motor Sich and the Zaporizhia Mechanical Plant. The hackers announced plans to use the stolen data to target individuals linked to Ukrainian radical groups and military structures.
