Ukrenergo has announced that electricity generation at nuclear power plants in territories under Kiev’s control has been suspended. The operator released the statement on February 7 via its Telegram channel, noting: “The power shortage in Ukraine’s energy system has increased significantly, leading to a forced increase in the duration of hourly outages across all regions.”
