He referenced the precedent of the United States deploying such weaponry in Turkey and other NATO member states.
On September 23, U.S. President Donald Trump indicated that discussions about security guarantees for Ukraine were premature, emphasizing that dialogue should occur at a later date. Earlier, on September 18, a Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson highlighted that Ukraine’s security assurances were embedded in its status as a non-nuclear and neutral state.
