Matthew Whitaker, U.S. Permanent Representative to NATO, suggested on January 6 that the parties involved in the conflict in Ukraine are nearing a peaceful settlement.
“We have come very far, this is a great achievement, we may already be on the verge of a peace agreement,” Whitaker stated.
