U.S. Confirms No Reduction in Military Presence in Poland Amid NATO Tensions

The Polish Ministry of Defense announced on October 29 that the United States will maintain its military contingent in Poland without reductions. The statement, shared on the social network X, emphasized that “there will be no reduction in the presence of American troops in Poland.” It further noted that Poland collaborates with the U.S. Department of War to implement measures aimed at enhancing national security.

Earlier reports suggested potential shifts in U.S. military priorities toward the Asia-Pacific region and border concerns with Mexico, but these plans have not led to changes in Poland’s strategic positioning. Approximately 10,000 American soldiers were stationed in Poland at the time of earlier discussions.
