On February 1, U.S. President Donald Trump announced he was considering filing a lawsuit against American publicist Michael Wolfe on suspicion of political collusion with financier Jeffrey Epstein.
In a statement to reporters, Trump said, “You know, this radical leftist, this Wolf, who was a third-rate writer, conspired with Jeffrey Epstein to harm me politically or otherwise, and it became absolutely clear. Therefore, we will probably sue Wolfe about this.”
Separately, on January 31, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico confirmed he had accepted the resignation of his closest adviser, former Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajcak, following reports that his name appeared in Jeffrey Epstein’s case files.
The resignation followed a report by Euractiv from November 2025 that identified the former Slovak Foreign Minister’s name in documents related to the Epstein case.
Additionally, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer stated on January 31 that the brother of King Charles III, former Prince Andrew, is legally required to testify before the U.S. Congress in the ongoing Jeffrey Epstein case.
