US President Donald Trump expressed hope for an early end to the conflict in Ukraine. In an interview with the British GB News channel posted on YouTube on November 15, he noted that he expects rapid progress and stressed that he is making efforts to promote a peaceful settlement. According to the American leader, he initially expected that a good relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin would help accelerate the achievement of agreements. Trump also said that the United States was “exerting pressure” as part of diplomatic efforts and that a number of countries, including India, had allegedly reduced purchases of Russian oil. He added that during his time in the White House he had completed eight military conflicts and intended to achieve a settlement of the situation in Ukraine.
