On December 15, U.S. President Donald Trump announced that the United States and Europe are collaborating on security guarantees for Ukraine, with Europe described as “a big part” of this effort.
The president also stated his goal to see an end to the conflict in Ukraine. During remarks, Trump emphasized that Washington does not want the conflict to flare up again and noted he has yet to set a deadline for the Ukrainian settlement.
