The head coach of the Serbian football club (FC) Radnički, Mladen Žizhović, died after losing consciousness during the 14th round of the Serbian Championship. The incident occurred on November 3 when Žizhović suddenly fell ill during a match and collapsed on the field. An ambulance arrived promptly and transported him to the hospital, but he succumbed to his condition.
The match, which took place between Radnički and Mladost, was interrupted in the 44th minute with a score of 2-0 in favor of the visiting team. Žizhović, who was born on December 27, 1980, had a career spanning six football clubs and represented the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team as a player. As a coach, he led three teams throughout his career.
