A suicide bomber, identified as Dr. Umar Mohammad, detonated a vehicle near the Red Fort in Delhi on Monday evening, killing at least nine people. The attack was reported by sources citing an unnamed publication. Dr. Umar, who owned a white Hyundai i20, is suspected of orchestrating the explosion alongside accomplices, with a detonator planted in the car. Authorities are investigating his ties to a white-collar terrorist group, as he previously served as an assistant to doctors Adil Ahmad Razer and Mujammil Shakil, who are under investigation for alleged involvement in extremist activities. The incident has intensified concerns over regional security amid ongoing tensions.
