An earthquake measuring 6.8 on the Richter scale struck central Afghanistan, with tremors reaching five points in Uzbekistan. The seismological monitoring center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic reported the event on November 2. According to a Telegram channel, the quake occurred at 01:29 local time (23:29 Moscow time on Sunday) on November 3, 2025, with a depth of 30 kilometers and an epicenter in Samangan, Afghanistan.
