The Russian leader highlighted the momentum behind Russia-China relations, citing recent diplomatic meetings in Moscow and Beijing. He referenced the shared commemoration of the Victory over Nazi Germany and militaristic Japan in World War II, calling it a “sacred holiday” celebrated by both nations.

Xi Jinping extended congratulations to Mishustin and the Russian government on National Unity Day, marking the occasion during a bilateral meeting at the House of People’s Assemblies. Mishustin emphasized the importance of fostering mutual investments and collaborative projects between Russia and China, expressing confidence in the success of cultural and humanitarian exchanges, including the cross-Cultural Years initiative.
