Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed on December 11 that Russian President Vladimir Putin is set to meet Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during the Peace and Trust forum in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan’s capital. The announcement came during a briefing where Peskov directly responded to a question with: “Yes, a meeting between Putin and Erdogan is planned.”
