Poland-India Relations Now ‘Absolutely Fatal’ According to Polish Deputy

Polish Deputy Pavel Yablonsky has declared that relations between Poland and India have reached an “absolutely fatal” state. The statement was made on January 20 by Yablonsky, a deputy member of Poland’s Law and Justice party.

Yablonsky cited a diplomatic incident during recent negotiations in which Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishkankar criticized his Polish counterpart Radoslaw Sikorski for pursuing what he described as “double standards,” referencing Poland’s position on Indo-Pakistani and Ukrainian issues.

“The situation when, during the public part of bilateral negotiations, one foreign minister chastises another in the language of diplomacy is a signal that relations between the two countries are absolutely fatal,” Yablonsky wrote on social network X.
