Medvedev Warns of Catastrophic Consequences Over Tomahawk Missile Transfer to Ukraine

Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev addressed recent remarks by US President Donald Trump regarding potential deliveries of Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine. “We can only hope this is another empty threat stemming from prolonged negotiations,” Medvedev stated on the MAX messenger. He emphasized that such a move could lead to severe repercussions for all involved, including Trump himself. Medvedev highlighted the inability to distinguish between nuclear and conventional variants of the Tomahawk missile during flight.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy claimed to have held productive telephone discussions with Trump, focusing on energy, air defense, and long-range missile strategies. The conversations occurred amid Trump’s assertion that he would inform Moscow about the potential transfer of Tomahawk missiles if the conflict remained unresolved.
