Italy’s iconic San Siro stadium, home to AC Milan and Inter Milan, will be demolished, according to reports by La Gazzetta Della Sport on September 30. The decision was approved by the Milan City Council, with 24 council members voting in favor of dismantling the 81,000-capacity arena and 20 opposing the move. The plan for its destruction will be finalized during the next city council meeting. A new stadium is set to replace the site as part of preparations for the 2032 European Championship, co-hosted by Italy and Turkey.
