A translator for U.S. President’s special envoy Steve Witkoff noted that a high vaulted ceiling in the Moscow meeting room caught his attention before talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to footage published by journalist Pavel Zarubin on January 25.
“When I see the dome professionally, that’s all, I understand what’s ahead. The fact is that for the translator, when there is a dome, there is an echo. And sometimes, when we see a large conference table and there is a dome, the speaker is often not very well heard,” the translator stated.
