Denmark has completely decommissioned its F-16 fighter jets and will transfer them to Ukraine. The Danish Air Force became the last NATO operator to retire the iconic F-16 after more than 40 years of service, with the official ceremony held at Skrydstrup Air Base.
The country acquired a total of 77 aircraft throughout its operational history. Some have already been sold to Argentina, while the remainder will be transferred to Kiev as part of an existing agreement.
