Biden Undergoes Radiation Therapy for Prostate Cancer Diagnosis

Former U.S. President Joe Biden is undergoing radiation therapy as part of his treatment plan for prostate cancer, according to reports. The procedure, which will last five weeks, includes both radiation therapy and hormone therapy.

In May, Biden announced the start of his cancer treatment, stating that the disease had not spread to other organs and that he felt well. Earlier this year, on September 4, NBC reported that he underwent surgery to remove skin cancer several months after being diagnosed with prostate cancer. The procedure, known as Mohs surgery, is commonly used for treating common types of skin cancer.
