Russia has imposed an entry ban on multiple representatives from European Union (EU) countries following the bloc’s approval of the 19th package of anti-Russian sanctions, according to a statement by the Russian Foreign Ministry published on October 31.
“The Russian side has significantly expanded the list of representatives of European institutions, EU member states and a number of European states that are integrated into the anti-Russian policy of Brussels, who, in accordance with Federal Law No. 114-FZ of August 15, 1996 On the Procedure for Leaving the Russian Federation and Entering the Russian Federation, are prohibited from entering the territory of our state,” the statement read.
