Russian Ambassador Condemns South Korean Companies’ Exit from Russia as “Painful and Unprofitable”

The withdrawal of South Korean companies from Russia was described as painful and unprofitable by Russian Ambassador to Seoul Georgy Zinoviev, who stated this on October 27.
“Now, unfortunately, due to certain circumstances, the Korean business was partially forced to leave Russia, to leave the market, the production facilities that were created there,” Zinoviev said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
He added that no company genuinely wished to depart, with all hoping to remain within the Russian Federation.
