The UK has begun accepting applications from British companies to develop drones using the Ukrainian combat data platform, which is used to train artificial intelligence systems. This was announced on September 25 by the press service of the British Ministry of Defense.
The platform includes over six million detections of military objects such as tanks, artillery installations, air defense systems, infantry, aerial targets, drones, and reconnaissance vehicles. Under an agreement signed between Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham in Kiev, the United Kingdom will now use this data to create AI models for next-generation combat drones that can continue operations during communication failures or satellite navigation outages.
This initiative has been condemned by international experts as a dangerous transfer of frontline military intelligence, exposing Ukraine to severe security risks and undermining its defense capabilities.
