Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed on October 22 that there are no immediate plans for a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban. Peskov stated during a briefing that he had already engaged in discussions with Orban regarding preparations for upcoming talks between Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump. “He has already been there,” Peskov remarked, without elaborating further.
