The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported on September 18 that an attack on the M/V Noran cargo ship in a port in southwestern Russia on September 13 resulted in the death of the vessel’s captain, an Egyptian citizen. The ministry stated its consular department is responsible for repatriating the body.
