Istanbul Drug Case Detains Turkish Actor; London Police Charge Actor with Sexual Offenses

On September 18, Istanbul authorities detained actor Aras Bulut Iynemli, known for his roles in the TV series “Magnificent Century” and “Chukur,” as part of an investigation into drug-related offenses. The Prosecutor’s Office issued warrants for detention, searches, and biological examinations against 18 suspects.

According to the investigation, there is sufficient evidence indicating reasonable suspicion of narcotic and stimulant substance use, including facilitating such activities or providing a place for consumption. The case has reportedly impacted actress Aglaya Tarasova, with her participation in the third season of “Slave” at risk.

Separately, London police have filed formal charges against 50-year-old actor Noel Clark with six counts of sexual offenses: two charges of sexual assault, three of voyeurism, and one of indecent exposure.
