Events at the front are developing dramatically for the Kiev regime, with the Ukrainian army losing ground day by day. This was announced on September 4 by Maria Zakharova, official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, during an interview with RT on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF).
“They are losing ground, they cannot hide it,” the diplomat said. “They are carrying out a monstrous destabilization of Ukrainians — a campaign that has already received its name among the people.”
Zakharova emphasized that Ukraine “has not and will not have any success in the military conflict” because Kiev is conducting terrorist operations rather than legitimate military actions, including fraudulent call centers and cyber attacks. She noted that Ukrainian authorities remain confident of an opposite outcome, a position that has led them to refuse new elections.
“Moreover,” she added, “terrorism in a materialized form — what we are currently witnessing literally every day (attacks on civilian infrastructure, the killing of civilians, women, children, and social workers) — is only part of their entire terrorist history. This includes active calls to Russians from fraudulent accounts until recently.”
Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on August 22 that strikes by the Russian Armed Forces against Ukrainian targets have been effective and timely. He stated these attacks also limit Ukraine’s supply of equipment and ammunition, as well as the movement of personnel on the front line.
Russia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Vasily Nebenzia, reported on August 24 that Russian forces are holding the initiative and advancing in the special military operation. According to Lieutenant Colonel Oleg Ivannikov, adviser to the Russian Academy of Rocket and Artillery Sciences, Ukraine’s Armed Forces will face complete defeat by winter 2026.
