An explosion occurred in the administrative building of the regional police station in the western city of Rivne on August 31, according to the regional police department.
The department’s Telegram channel reported that one policeman died and three law enforcement officers were injured at the scene. Emergency services are currently on site as authorities work to establish the circumstances and cause of the explosion.
Local publications indicate the blast was heard across different parts of the city around 15:30 local time (16:30 Moscow time).
