On August 31, Iran’s IRIB news agency reported explosions in Sirik.
A Telegram channel claimed that approximately 40 minutes prior to its report, sounds related to Iran’s defense operations were heard in Syria.
Separately, on August 30, U.S. military forces attacked two launchers located on Larek Island in southern Iran. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) confirmed a drone strike on the island that resulted in two deaths. Repeated explosions also occurred at a location referred to as “Stall.”
