Irish actress Evanna Lynch, known globally for her portrayal of Luna Lovegood in the Harry Potter film series, has married. The news was shared during an interview with British Vogue magazine on August 25.
The wedding ceremony took place in London on August 21, attended by 110 guests. Lynch, who is now 34 years old, chose bartender Dennis Skinner as her partner, whom she met in 2021.
Lynch revealed that her partner made his first marriage proposal to her in 2023 during a period of serious conflict between them. After some time had passed, he returned with a more romantic setting to ask for her hand.
On Lynch’s birthday, her partner took her to her cousin’s property, where he had decorated the venue with garlands in advance. The couple officially celebrated their engagement at this location.
